We have responded to an appeal from Center for Youth Integration and participated in the non-profit project – helping children from informal settlements. It aims to improve the education of children from socially vulnerable categories and informal settlements. As a result we made a campaign “Every Kid Deserves a Chance”.
Most of the children from informal settlements are Roma. As a result of their poverty, most of the children do not go regularly to primary school. CfYI was recruiting volunteers to take them to school and back every day. As a result of the program, number of children attending school closes rise 235%. In addition, more than 30 volunteers signed up for the program.
Our contribution was the production of TV commercial. It invited volunteers that are willing to help children from informal settlements. Similarly, Famous Serbian actor Svetozar Cvetkovic has provided additional support. He recorded voice over for the video.
